Yoga for Focus – Clear Mind | Ali Kamenova Yoga

Yoga for Focus, Mind, ADD, ADHD. We will work on balancing poses that allow the mind to focus on a single task and thus on the present moment. This is a nonforceful way to become more focused and present. Deep breathing and pranayama can balance the mind and produce a sense of relaxation and well being. Deep core work! Deep abdominal muscle connection. Reverse planks are one of the most beautiful poses for developing true strength.

This is a very gentle, nurturing class, I appreciated it very much today because I had a good 5km run and it streched where I needed and gave me the light pace to cool off and rest..

Love this so much! Also I appreciate how you take the time to explain that yoga is not a replacement for medical care, but an enhancement. Thank you. And most importantly: SOPHIEEEE!!! ❤️

I love your classes and have been following you for years. I started doing yoga with your help and am so very grateful.

Can I just add something I noticed in the last few classes of yours I've done… When you start the class you seem out of breath and stressed and put me in that mood straight away. And I know some your classes are very powerful and require a lot of heavy breathing but as someone with ADD, in this class, I found the heavy breathing very distracting and your scattered speech also confuses me. I hope you understand this is coming from a good place. I respect you a lot and just needed to say this for perspective.

    Thank you <3

Ali this was a beautiful class. I always learn so much from your classes. Love the reminder that yoga is not a pose but being. Thank you as always.

You never cease to astound me, Ali, with your generosity! This class was wonderful and reminds me to breathe. When I did my 200-hour teacher training in 2013 (which brought me to find you in 2014), I learned that people with mental health issues should not do certain types of breathing, more so kundalini. I think Science was not prepared to handle the positive effects that certain types of breathing can do for certain types of chemical imbalances. It's all so tricky and one day after my children are independent from me on a daily basis to provide everything for themselves, I may try to abstain from chemical intervention since I have yoga and my breath. Honestly, both yoga and medicine exist for a reason and I wholeheartedly believe that yoga is truly medicinal; I cannot try that experiment until later in life (btw, I discovered after a few years of teaching yoga, I am a much better student and will teach on a VERY LIMITED, may once or twice a year, basis. Now I just share with friends if they ask for help and I send them right to your channel and website). Thank you, always, for sharing your wealth and abundance of knowledge across such a vast spectrum. Love, gratitude and blessings to you all, xoxoxo Tracy

THANK YOU, ALI! I look forward to doing this one and appreciate you creating it, I think, based on my request (mtronix, not sure how Adrian and Ali post, but this was by specific request!! I think it's just universal alignment that Ali and Adrian posted it and around the same time–it must be needed by many yogis!!!!!). Although maybe my ego suggests the fact that Ali created it for me!!! hee hee….word choices are quite spot on from the request. And the fact that I have diahrrhea of the mind and comment as such may have indicated to this wonderful yoga teacher that there is at least one of in the world who need focus and concentration!!! love and blessings to all, Ali, xoxo Tracy—I am breaking from the hero journey to do this one, Ali!
