    I lost 40 lbs without working out a tad bit, now I am usually insecure and don’t understand if I’m still fat or I see myself fat mentally. Oh I was 220 lbs before the weight loss now I’m around 184-182 5”8-9… someone help

    What is the issue with me is I am 62 lbs now and will frequently change the lbs like for tomorrow I will be 63 and not less than that even after diet control so just worried, but loosing inches physically I can see that.

    Hey shane, When I started my diet and workout a month I lost 3.9 kilos of weight. After that I stated my weight training and my scale stopped moving. I got so frustrated so I started looking at my inches and show that am loosing on inches everyday. Am from India and so happy and excited to see ur video. I am going the right way. Thanks 😊

    thank you for this. I've been a skinny person all my life, never going over 115 pounds after puberty; But once on a medicaiton, I gained 15 pounds. I know that doesn't seem much to people, but to me it wasn't a good time. On that medication, I did MORE than I'm doing now. I went vegetarian, (almost vegan) I walked 2-3 miles a day, I was on a strict regimen. NOTHING changed. Not the scale, not my pants, not my body. I did this strict diet and exercise for 6 MONTHS. In fact in that time I became lethargic, hungry AF, and increased chronic pain. So, I gave up. Now I'm off of that medication, and I'm doing similar things I did when I first gained that weight; I'm walking 2 miles again, eating healthy, got rid of junkfood. Dabbling in some strength stuff. BUT I'm not as strict with everything; I don't walk 2 miles every single day, and I don't deprive myself of those "once in a while" sweets, but I make sure it's healthier (like my sweet was vegan cookie dough that was 60 cals per serving. My first junk food in 3 weeks. And I only ate a few bites). However, even with not being as strict, I was able to not eat junkfood no problem, that was an automatic deficit right there, and eating pretty much everything whole foods and/or whole grains. Chicken and turkey being my only meat, and they aren't in every meal. Anyway, I recently noticed I'm smaller all around again, almost to my size before my medication. Which only took less than a month. BUT the scale wasn't changing so I was anxious and confused until I realized how better my body was. Then I just became confused as to how in the world I'm still that same weight from my medication, but I'm getting to my "115 pound size" overall.

    PS: I'm actually not as hungry, tired, or in pain as when I tried to lose weight the first time. Actually the opposite.

    Good video Shane. I'm in the same boat. Last year I was 91kg with tight pants and shirt. 6 months later (weight training) I'm 95kg with loose pants and shirt.

    Great video and info!I'm 48 5 11 and strength training 6 days a week. I been 215lb for 3 months now. Definitely can see mass building and top abs are showing Daily approx 2500 calories carbs approx 220 and protein between 60 and 80…I do compound movements also. Should I include any cardio like hit a few times a week to target more body fat? Thanks again! Ryan

    Hi great video, so I have been doing slimfast, intermittent fasting, low-carb low-sugar for a few weeks now and I'm struggling with weight loss I've only lost like a few pounds lately after losing 75lbs so I'm struggling now but I have seen That I am losing weight I don't have love handles anymore I don't have much of a stomach anymore but the scale doesn't go down that much it's so frustrating because I'm trying so damn hard. if I'm working on doing the low-carb low-sugar and everything else why am I not losing weight I am so strict! And I don't eat between meals!!!! It just doesn't make any sense because I'm so much smaller now than when I was last year. but it doesn't help when the scale says one thing and then I weigh myself again to make sure and it's 20 lbs more it's just so frustrating and it doesn't make any sense who can gain 20 more pounds in 10 seconds!!!!! Lol please help I have been struggling for many years with my weight. I've been so dedicated to losing weight 😭😭😭😭😭

    After a month and without any exercise I have dropped only about 4lb with the only change being diet (reduced my fat intake to around 30g or less per day). Although I am disappointed with the lack of weight loss on the scales, my body fat % has dropped 5% which Iam happy with.

    2 weeks diet with fruits and liquids. I have lost 1 inch but my weight hangs around same or just 1 kg down. But then again next day it becomes same.

    Great explanation !!!! This is exactly what I am experiencing right now . I stopped eating meat and within two weeks I notice I can get into clothes I couldn’t get into before, yet the scale has me at the same weight , sometimes even a little higher by two pounds. I was wondering the reason why . You did a great job explaining . Thank you !

    Man just what I needed to hear today!! I do quite a bit of fasting and low carb but the scale rarely moves but in recent weeks I've lost a clothes size, my stomach is way down and i have tons more energy, I'm no longer out of breath when I climb stairs at work, my feet rarely ache anymore, etc, in other words I need to stop obsessing over the scale and go by the positive health results, if the weight loss eventually comes it comes, but it's not my main focus any longer.

    Thank you I've been so confused. I've been intermittent fasting for 2 months and I see in my weekly progress pictures that I'm smaller but I actually weight 4 lbs more than what I started. I was about to just throw my scale away 😂

    I was worried that after losing 31 pounds my scale wasn’t moving but it was only 1 week and I do elliptical and body workouts at hm. But I went down 2 pants sizes and shirts sizes as well. It makes sense what you said but I do want the scale to move or else I’ll never reach my goal weight which is an additional 35 lbs. what do you recommend?

    Great video! I am experiencing this same thing while doing Keto. My BMI is dropping and my waist has gotten smaller and my pants are looser but I have only dropped 2 pounds. I bike and do other cardio so it is frustrating to me to not see a reduction. Coincidentally I am 164 ilbs and wanting to drop 20/30.

    This is encouraging because I have been doing keto and intermittent fasting for a whole month alongside HIIT and strength training and though I've gone down in inches the scale has barely moved.     I need some help in order to understand if I am doing anything wrong in my fat loss journey.

    Age 34
    Height 5.10
    weight 98KG
    10,000 steps completed 5 times a week.

    I wish to lose 15/20kg within 6 months I have been training just under a month now and have not lost anything. I log everything I eat I measure my portions using a scale in grams and I am training 5 days a week. At the gym I first do 1 hr 30 mins weights followed by 30/40 minutes cardio. My workout is intense and my whole T-shirt is soaked after I’m done. I would say I know how to train and not a novice but can’t seem to figure out where I am going wrong. I am consuming between 1850 to 2100 calories per day 150 grams of carbs and 150 grams of protein give or take, and under 75 grams of fat. On training days I am burning in total just under 4000 calories according to Fitbit not sure if that is accurate. Diet is full of vegetables salads lean meats whole foods all the good stuff to be frank. My BMR is 2092 calories so according to my research my caloric intake is sufficient to maintain a deficit and lose fat. My starting weight was 98kg and I am still the same after almost a month that cannot be right? I have measured myself also using a tape measure and have not lost any inches on my waist neck or chest.

    Sorry for the long essay lol hope I have covered everything any further info needed please ask.

    Hi Shane! What if your results are the other way around? I have been doing cardio and Hiit workouts at least 4 times a week and am sticking to a low carb, lower cal diet but it seems I am just losing weight and no inches so far? I just started at the beginning of this month and have lost around 10 Ibs but I'm starting to wonder if I'm doing it wrong haha
